Now that Nectar are joining forces with Avios, is it best to use my Sainsbury’s credit card or my BA American Express when shopping in Sainsbury’s, for optimum points. I will be converting Nectar points to Avios. I normally use the Sainsbury’s card as I get extra nectar points for that. Thank you

The Sainsbury's card is better for Sainsbury's, Argos and Tu Clothing spend as it 3 nectar point per £1. That works out to 1.6 Avios per £1, whereas the AmEx Blue Ba is only 1 Avios per £1.

Sainsburys is really 2 nectar points per £1 for comparison, as the 3 includes the 1 'normal' nectar point you could get by using your nectar card alongside the Amex.jay1804 said:The Sainsbury's card is better for Sainsbury's, Argos and Tu Clothing spend as it 3 nectar point per £1. AmEx gives you 1 Avios and you obviously use your nectar card too and so would be a total of 1.6 avios0 -
I would consider moving to the Nectar Amex if I were you.0
