Firstly, I know that this is a saving account, but it is a part of the Premier Direct current account, so I'm posting it here. If a board guide or moderator thinks it should be in the Savings & Investments forum and transfers it, I will respect the decision.
I transferred £50 from my current account to this one, in order to keep it within the £2500 limit whilst my salary and regular DD's & SO's go through. I've just tried to transfer the £50 back, but it now advises me that there is a £1 minimum balance and only allows me to transfer £49 back.
I wonder what will happen to this when I close the accounts early next year, when the 6% deal ends?

The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

If you actually close the account the £1 will be given back to you.0

On the pound issue. Yes, it's a pain. You can't get that back until the account is closed. And the interest won't be paid until 1st October next year otherwise. Also, transactions only stay on there for 265 days! (But you will get a paper statement still. I believe).....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0
