Green energy tariff changes...
They recently told me that their tariffs for the plan in on (Oak) are changing -

They advised I go to https://energycompare.citizensadvice.org.uk/ to compare the whole of the market but on there and everywhere I've looked Green haven't updated their tariffs. They tell me (and I guess they're correct) that it's not their job to update the tariffs on the sites, that it is the site's job to update their tariffs. I don't know who's job it is but they're not updated anywhere and this makes it hard to compare.
Is there anything I can do about this? or do any of you know of a tool/website that allows me to put in custom figures?

Citizens Advice checker shows most if not all available tariffs0

I know it does, thats why I wanted to use it. My issue it the tariff I'm on that is changing hasn't been updated and still shows the old values making it very difficult to compare ahead of the price increase.brewerdave said:Citizens Advice checker shows most if not all available tariffs0 -
@Richh It doesn't matter what the sites say for your existing tariff - it's the others suppliers info that is important. You need to be looking at the bottom line not what one supplier/tariff costs compared with others. Just put your ACTUAL annual consumption figures in the sites .Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

I do that because I keep a spreadsheet of all my usage but the site will say 'X tariff from X supplier is £150 more than you pay now' this is because it's comparing all the tariffs on an now defunct tariff from Green. This is what I am confused by.Robin9 said:@Richh It doesn't matter what the sites say for your existing tariff - it's the others suppliers info that is important. But you know the new rates from green compare against the rates on the site.

If youve got a spreadsheet just use a spreadsheet with some equations to work out your usage, its quite easy. Then plug in the unit rate and standing charge for the cheapest deals on the comparison sites, and see how it compares with your current tariff (new rates)Richh said:

Its a bit more of a hassle than if the site had already updated the figures, but if you want to update sometimes you gotta do a bit more work.0
