Unable To Play Videos On Google Drive, Shows Error “Whoops! There was a problem playing this video”

Hello everyone. I am unable to play videos saved on my Google Drive. Every time I am trying to play videos from Google Drive it shows the error “Whoops! There was a problem playing this video”. I don’t know why this is happening.  Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Video format unsupported on whatever device you are using or wrong defualt player .

Faulty upload .

Download and try .

Thanks for replying. I have checked the file format and it is supported on Drive. The video does play after I download it, so it doesn't look like a faulty upload.

What format and what player are you using to stream ,on what PC Phone Tablet >>

Drive itself is not a player .

Just out of interest, does the same thing happen if you open the page in Private/Incognito Mode? 

Google Chrome:

1. Start Google Chrome.
2. Press the keys Ctrl+Shift+N simultaneously on your keyboard.

Mozilla Firefox: 

1. Start  Firefox.
2. Simultaneously press the keys Ctrl+Shift+P on the keyboard.

Microsoft Edge:

1. Start Microsoft Edge.
2. Press the keys Ctrl+Shift+P together on your keyboard.

Internet Explorer:

1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. Again press the keys Ctrl+Shift+P simultaneously.

Opera Browser

1. Start Opera.
2. Press the keys Ctrl+Shift+N at the same time.
