PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.

Just so everyone knows, nothing is happened! One apology (as no update) and that's it!
I promise to come back as soon as I know more.
Thanks again for your input when I was most stressed. I hope you're all keeping well.37 -
You realise we are all on tenterhooks here OP?
Thanks for the "no-update update" though - more than a lot of people would do... and the final outcome could be useful for others as well as fascinating for us3 -
Thank you for keeping us updated. We’re rooting for you!2

Just read this from front to back - what an absolute pain in the posterior.
I wish you all the best, but I have a feeling it'll all turn out alright in the end. It's just something you really don't need!1 -
moneymattersnatter said:My goodness, on Wednesday when I was so stressed out and told we weren't covered under Home Insurance for boundary disputes, you (and mumsnet) were absolute lifelines, and continue to be, even now we've got legal support! I'm here to the end, don't you worry! I rang NHBC and Consumer Code for Home Builders who both say they'll support us - if the developer doesn't manage this within their code of conduct. The attempt to gaslight is dubious, but without effect so we'll just have to walk this out.
I actually just got an email from the Customer Services manager confirming the management team will outline options and timeframes by next Friday (or sooner), that no works have been or will be instructed without our knowledge. It was a lovely email. I actually feel really sorry for the CS guy, but then I remember he's being paid to manage this - none of us are!
Im only commenting to point out that the CS manager said that no work would be instructed without your knowledge. I do hope they mean it wont happen without your permission as well
Good luck1 -
I’m on pins here. Rooting for you OP all the way .. xBe happy, it's the greatest wealth1
