Small kitchen appliance lost by courier

They arranged/paid the delivery/pick-up.jon81uk said:Who paid DPD?
It is the person with the contract with DPD that needs to chase it.
I assume you have talked to your neighbours though, sometimes just asking prompts them to be honest and hand something over they "took by accident".
Yes, I have asked the neighbours, hoping they got it but they didn't. Someone from outside must have taken it, despite the door being locked. Maybe Deliveroo or courier driver, I have no idea.0 -
That's a little judgemental. Maybe one of your neighbours isn't as honest as you think they are.chrisdem said:

No it's not. KA's contract is with the courier, your contract and consumer rights are with Currys. If KA or their courier have lost it, it's not your problem.chrisdem said:It's a KitchedAid mixer and they have arranged for the mixer to be picked up and serviced by their service.
So I guess my issue is with KitchenAid, but how do I take this further as they are ignoring me.
If they say it's 'delivered', ask for a POD. The problem at present is that covid restrictions mean that nobody asks for signatures any more, but they normally take a pic of the parcel on the doorstep when you open it. Delivery means to your door, not the block door, as long as they can gain access.
Your LBA should be sent to Currys, not KA. If you deal direct with KA you lose all your consumer rights and rely on their limited warranty.
