I had a call today from a UK mobile number with a recorded message advising I had been a victim of NI Fraud, i hung up straight away.
Is anyone else aware of this?

Also income tax fraud , Amazon prime fraud and Netflix fraud .

All scams , all preying on the gullible

You need to take better care of your mobile number(s) ...
I have more than one SIMM and more than one phone. Friends get one, Bank / 2 factor log in etc get a second, others (eg deliveries) get a PAYG 3rd ... when I start getting spam calls on No. 3 it's time to put it in the bin .... ...

Golden rule is that if you get a call from a mobile you don't recognise do not answer it.  If it is important they will leave a message.  I now block all unrecognised mobile numbers and all numbers beginning with 0161, 03 and some others.  Every day I am informed that I get between 5 and 15 calls to blocked numbers - no messages so obviously not important.
