What is the Issue Date on your County Court Claim Form?
    12th March

    Many thanks for swift response.

With a Claim Issue Date of 12th March, you have until Wednesday 31st March to file an Acknowledgment of Service, but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.
To file an AoS, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.

Having filed an AoS, you have until 4pm on Wednesday 14th April 2021 to file your Defence.
That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service instructions.
Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

Should I email both the solicitors and the company AGAIN to tell them to consolidate this claim?
    No!

If this is a second claim then use the usual words in all the other threads about two claims.

Search the forum for cause of action estoppel Henderson defence.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sorry, I have used these words to both the solicitors and the company and have been ignored.
Can I counter claim for DPA breach, or just ICO complaint?

Who said we are telling you to tell this to the PPC?
It gets included everytime you send something tot he COURT.
Breach of DPA is not a defence, of course. You can counterclaim, but its not the strongest

Common parking abbreviations and acronyms are explained in the fifth post of the NEWBIES. I suggest you print it off, or write them out.

You told us in your first post back in January that you had read the NEWBIES.

forgive me for not remembering an obscure acronym I read 2 months ago. I will go back and re-read, I am still trying to get my head around this - it is very alien to me.

It is in the SAR proforma within the NEWBIE thread so I asked them to claim all PCNs

Yes, you ask them to consolidate the claims, at pre-action stage.  You did that and it was correct to require that, because their failure now adds to your defence.  You are now at court claim stage, so things have moved to a new stage and now is not the time to write to them again, it's gone beyond that.

As I said, the fact they are threatening or issuing a spate of claims rather than having carried out sufficient checks and due diligence to bring all matters that relate to similar facts to court in one single claim, now goes into your defence.  That's why I told you the exact search phrase to search for, to find a defence to copy from.

No they are not issuing a spate of claims, they have only ever gone after one PCN which is odd.

With regard to my SAR, they have got back to me and only sent me the data for the PCN they are claiming for - when I explicitly asked for all data on two separate VRM's.

    1. Would you suggest I ask again for ALL data they have on both VRN's or leave it?
    2. And would you suggest I include all PCNs  in my defence or just the one they are claiming/have supplied evidence of?

Many thanks for replies - would be lost without you guys :)
