  • Evening,

A NS day for me - woo hoo! Have just come back from town square christmas celebrations. Was lovely with all the lights and band playing christmas songs. Really got me into the spirit of things :-)

Hi everyone! And a very happy birthday to theunknownstuntman!

Today I've had an NSD, my third in a row. Which means this month, I've had four expensive days and three NSDs - it would be great to keep it fairly even all month!

Wasn't planning on going out tonight, but the OH got me a bottle of lambrini as a suprise to make the evening more fun! x
  • i reckon leave it in. Youve spent the money! Makes us all feel human for sometimes 'overspending'.

Ive parted with quite a bit today. £23.02 in postage for ebay stuff in which I only charged £21 so down by £2.02 and am going to reflect my £10 a day challenge to reflect same.

Was on a hunt for a wii today. Not got one yet but dont want to be empty handed on xmas day for dd so bought High School Musical plus 2 microphones at Blockbuster for £34.99 only to come home and find amazon have just reduced price to £24.99 and would have got piggy points too. Bit miffed. If it was anywhere else, would take it back and order on amazon but a) its available from 21st December which is cutting it fine and b)not sure how good blockbuster will be at taking it back, especially as was trying to sweet talk guy into keeping wii aside for me next week!

Also spend £2.17 on guinea pig food.

Just goes to show, its these things that screw up a budget when you justify it on a daily basis.

Ok scratch that. To kill time whilst dd at youth club, i went to sainsbury. Saw the HSM game I had just bought was going for £23.97 so bought that and will take back the £34.99 on tomorrow. That should be me happy because I saved £11 but then I blew it all by purchasing a new winter coat for myself, £13.60 (reduced from £45), a pair of green cords £6.60 reduced from £12 a jumper £7.50 - (which i dont even like all that much and so think i will take back) and a scarf for £2.50. Then went to the garage and spent £2.97 on juice, crisps and chocolate.

Feeling bit angry with myself. Total spend today...£117.32!!!! (although will get £34.99 back).

Its just not good enough. I need to rein myself in more, even if it is this time of year!!
