  • So far, £1 on the bus, and 50p on a can of Diet Coke. Probably spend nothing else today. Woo hoo!!!

Will be causing a stooshie with the Halifax on the way home as I'm taking a form they sent me to justify PPI on my credit card for 6 yrs by sending me a form that they claim I completed which isn't in my writing!
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

  • NS so far and I intend to go home and have a few glasses of wine before joining my friends in the pub to sip tap water for someones birthday drinks. I'm going to make ham sandwiches for dinner too to save buying proper dinner. That would then make the 2nd NS this week but unfortunately that sounds better than it is as yesterday I spent £50 on some trainers (present for OH) and £7 for some nikwash stuff to rewaterproof my cycling gear (annoying but necessary as twice this week I got soaked to the pants despite wearing it). And the real extravagance £160 on a bedside table (I know but I really wanted the matching wood to my bed, and I would have forever been annoyed by a cheaper non matching one and then later wasted more money changing it). I knew that expense was coming too so it is sort of budgetted for out of my savings (I'm hanging my head in shame as I write).
