Bought online from company going under

Hi all. I've recently purchased some clothing from an online clothing brand called Element in a January sale. After purchasing they announced a new even better sale so I purchased an extra couple of things. The first two arrived but they weren't a great fit so I planned to return along with anything I wasn't keeping from the following order. However I haven't received the second order, and after being unable to contact the company in any way I've since learned they're in some sort of trouble - the rumours are anything from bankruptcy to a change of ownership, but their social media is full of people not receiving orders. I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on whether I should send back the first order or not as I only have a few more days to do so; I don't want to send them back and not get my money back; i'd rather give them to a friend. Does anyone know if I'm covered by some sort of law, knowing that they are based in the Netherlands.
