I have received a cheque from Provident for money owed for miselling of loans based on affordability, im taking my case to Financial ombudsman for the remainder of the loans which they are not upholding. My question is can I cash this cheque or do I need to wait until the remainder of the loans are reviewed?
Thanks Jo

You can cash it now.
I would confirm in writing to them that you are accepting this payment on the basis of the missale and not a full and final acceptance.0 -
If they have upheld your complaint on some loans but not others you can safely cash the cheque for the upheld ones and refer the not upheld ones to FOS.0
