Does your computer actually have a camera?  If so is it active?  Is it covered up?  Go into the camera settings in Zoom and check they are OK.

I have an external camera which works perfectly fine on skype. I've checked the camera settings on Zoom. It's a mystery.

If the permissions thing suggested above doesnt work then I did sort out a very similar issue on a colleagues laptop recently.
If Windows 10  - Type 'device manager' in the search bar bottom left and launch Device Manager. Locate the camera group and expand, assuming there is a camera listed then right click on it and select 'uninstall device" - then go to the top of the window and select #action #scan for hardware changes.
This seemed to take the camera off and then put it back on and fixed his teams camera issue - may be the same for zoom.  It takes no time at all to do so worth a shot.
    hope this helps.

Zoom has caused me issues today.
This morning, I cast the laptop to TV and it didn't put the sound on the TV - had to mess with settings
This afternoon, I joined a different meeting (from an email link this time) and had no video - had to mess with settings again.
    Hmm

    Open Zoom
    Top right corner cog icon
    Video tab on the left
Mine is set to 'integrated webcam' - presume that, as you have an external camera, it's set to use that, is it?

It has my camera listed which it's on. 'integrated webcam' is not an option given.

Do you have any Apps that start up automatically with Windows that use the webcam, such as Skype? Make sure that any of applications that use a webcam are stopped from running.
Brand name of webcam? Latest Drivers?
