Hi,
I had two bay windows replaced by Anglian, the reason for my replacement was condensation problem. I had one done and another pending installation in Feb, due to COVID restrictions postponed from Nov to Feb, after first windows installation I still see condensation but it has reduced but not completely cured. The price for 2 bay windows triple glazed charged at 7300.00, is this really fair price had quotes from couple of other vendor roughly around that mark but I heard from one of my friend he got it done for 2500 double galazing, same size.

Are these triple glazed windows really that price or I just got rip off?
1 bay window- 7 sections below and above
2 bay window 5 sections below and above.
2 bay window 5 sections below and above.
Any advise appreciated.

If you had 3 quotes of approximately the same price it would seem the quote is reasonable. Everybody seems to know somebody who can get things done for a fraction of the price.

new windows do not automatically cure condensation . they may reduce it . open the windows and ventilate them has a better chance . you mentioned Anglian and asked if you've been over charged . I'm going to guess the answer is you could have got better for less .triple glazing isn't much more expensive . all depend on size . style and type of bay . depends on the finish required and the damage to repair . that's your quote . I think I understand your 7 and 5 section but maybe wrong . draw or put a simple pic up and I will give you a clue what I or similar would have charged .

Whenever I have paid less for windows I have always ended up with problems, windows not opening, poorly fitted etc. Unlikely you were ripped off if you had similar quotes. Bays are expensive.0

In white I would fit for less than 4k supply and fit plus the price of materials to make them look good . 5 and 7 sides often have a lot of timber heads to replace of replicate . not looking for work btw just my idea on how much Anglian are overpricing £2500 is cheap for 12 frames installed
