I am aware there is a Windows app for Whatsapp, but that still requires the phone to be connected to the internet
Is there a way of viewing Whatsapp on a computer without the phone needing to be connected to the internet?
Doing some research it appears you can use an Android Emulator, but I am wondering how safe they are to install? Would I be opening myself up to viruses?
Thanks

I researched a similar issue for a tech phobic friend who only has a iPad and an ancient non smart mobile phone. We drew a blank and it seems the possibility of an iPad app in the future had been mentioned but never materialised.0 -
