I have just settled 2 debts with Cabot at 35% after initially being at 60% before I negotiated with them.
I have a debt with PRA group which I have the CCA for and they wont discount it at all. I stopped paying this 3 months ago. Anyone had any discounts off these guys?

They are very difficult to negotiate with, we have had lots of stories on DFW of people trying to settle accounts at a discount with PRA, they don`t budge most of the time, only when it suits them.
They like to maximise their profits, wear as the likes of Cabot and Lowell, are usually open to some kind of deal.

If you have a copy of the CCA from them then the balls in their court too, they aren’t going to be likely to negotiate if they can enforce it.0
