Rec' letter today pip extended until Dec' 24.
Are the mentioned reviews going to be face to face, or are they being delayed.
maybe when it's my next review, it could be paper based again.

The extensions are to give DWP themselves time to complete reviews without awards ending in the meantime.  At the moment people are receiving the review forms at the original time they would have expected them.  As for face-to-face assessments, nobody knows that far ahead.  Regardless, paper-based assessments are always a possibility (albeit very rare).  No doubt we will know more by the time you get your review form through anyway.

    Thanks @Spoonie_Turtle
dwp making more time for reviews then.
i thought recent years face to face were my reviews, apart from most recent paper based since 2020 I think.
    maybe it was 2019.

Face to face stopped when Covid hit. When & if they start again is anyone's guess. It could be that they find that phone/paper based is more efficient (read cheaper) & as such decide that is the way forward.
Much like many companies now deciding the working from home is a big money saver for them as they do not need big expensive offices.
