We went for the simplest design possible; no finials, plain windows of a standard tilt 'n turn type etc. The rest of the property is pretty ordinary-looking too. We'll never win any architectural awards.....but our location is something else. You can't take that away from us!

We've had our conservatory for about 9 years now and have no regrets. It has underfloor heating, argon (or whatever the gas is) double glazing and can be used in all but the coldest of weather. We are shortly to have the roof replaced with a lightweight tiled construction, but that is because a tile off our neighbour's roof came through it in the storms last Spring and neither of us can relax now if we have strong winds. I have no doubt it will help keep the temperature variance down but will also make the room off it a little darker. The conservatory has a high, pitched roof which will be white on the inside and will also have two large windows (too far out hopefully for another roof tile to come through).
