Neighbours rubbish and asbestos drain.

Hi all. My neighbours has a lot of rubbish leaning up against our garage. The rubbish extends to the start of our back gate and there’s an asbestos gutter within this rubbish. I’m not sure how best to approach this or if he declines to remove this what action I can take. He seems a rather grumpy unfriendly neighbour. Pictures attached. Thank you

So is all that rubbish on your land0

So is that your passage way or is it shared? Does that gate lead to/from your garden?0

Confused. That's your back gatea and land? It looks like it's on the inside of it rather than the outside
Or is this on your neighbours land and you don't want it leaning on your garage. Sorry it's not that clear.
Looks like it's been there a fair while too0 -
Say that you are needing a clear passageway. and would he mind moving his hardware items. as you will be wheeling things through in the coming weeks for some building works to be carried out
Or, move it all to the other side of the gateGather ye rosebuds while ye may1 -
This doesn't make sense. That's your gate, implying a thoroughfare, but it's his land where the rubbish is dumped?
If it's your land just ask him to move it and if he doesn't lob it into his garden.0 -
Thanks everyone snd sorry girl the confusion. It’s a shared passage way. He obviously doesn’t use his gate because he has all this rap infront of it. The wood is leaning against our garage wall along with other crap. We will be repointing the garage soon so this will be an issue. The rubbish stood where you see the green bucket and that’s where our beck gate is. There’s also a broken asbestos gutter there. I would like to ask him but I’m new to the neighbourhood and this guy appears unfriendly so if he tells me where to go( which I suspect he will) I’m not sure what else I can do. 😶1

So how do you know it's the neighbours rubbish and not the previous resident of your place? You need to have a word with neighbour , I suspect you will have few trips to the dump or get a skip in though.

He's probably annoyed about the rubbish left in the shared access.illbeurhuckleberry said:He seems a rather grumpy unfriendly neighbour.

As already mentioned, have you established if it’s his rubbish and not the previous occupant of your house that put it there? (Or even a third party fly tipping)0

If that is asbestos, even a small interaction with it and you have a warranty to get cancer.
You need to call a company specialized with it and clean up all around, not only the pieces, it's the fiber that is dangerous and yours is all around.
The story with your friend it's up to you.0
