I've an old Sony tablet S at home that's hardly been used, in fact I don't think it's been turned on in over 5 years, I'd like to revitalise it so I can give it to my Niece to play with.
It currently installed with Android 4 but I would like to get this up to a more up to date version of Android. Any ideas on whether it's possible, it was a decent tablet in it's day and in excellent condition so would be a shame if we couldn't get any use out of it still.

I have a Nook HD from about 2014, also in excellent condition with an added 32GB micro sd card.
I've used Cyanogen on it from day one, it still works well as an e-reader, some Twitter and playing audio to Bluetooth speakers, but forget about anything else.
Web pages are very slow to load with todays heavy content, and if they do, they rarely playback any video without it freezing.Move along, nothing to see.0
