Lloyds Lifetime Benefits Useless

  • The fee should be £25 a month for all the Benefits as it basically follows the old Lloyds Premier account, and the £3 Club Lloyds Fee is also waived, but as I said earlier you do have to maintain a balance in the Account (£10k), but at present £10k is not going to earn you £25 a month in interest, so its probably worth it.

    T&C Below:

Monthly charge if you have a Club Lloyds Private Banking Premier Current Account or Private Banking Premier Current account If the cleared balance on your current account is at least £10,000 in credit throughout the monthly charging period or if you maintain a managed portfolio with Private Banking of £250,000 or more – there is no monthly account charge. If the cleared current account balance falls below £10,000 at any time during the monthly charging period and you do not have a managed portfolio with Private Banking of £250,000 or more – there is a monthly account charge of £25. Our monthly charging period for the Private Banking Premier Current Account, including Club Lloyds, runs from the 2nd of one month to the 1st of the next month, or is based on the day of the month you opened your account, depending on the type of account you may have held with us previously. If you open, upgrade or close your account part way through a month, you will only pay for the days you have used. Club Lloyds There is also a £3 monthly fee for your Club Lloyds account – however while you remain a Private Banking client this fee will be waived. You will see the account fee charged and refunded on the same day each month.
Might be an option for some, of course if you had invested £10k over the last decade then annual returns of a high equity globally diversified portfolio have averaged around 10%, so that could actually be costing you around £80 a month on that basis. The club lloyds fee is avoided by cycling money through the account in any case.

i feel that this site is purely for a bunch of moaning minnies. If you cannot help people , it is ridiculous just to shoot down their posts!! People talk about perspective!!  If you can take time to come on and berate other people then you are defo the ones with problems. I have never encounteted a forum with such a moaning an complaining bunch of people on my life. I am sur that Martin Lewis would be horrified to have created a platform for people to be mean snd dosnright rude and insensitive to each other. I suspected this forum was to seek genuine help and answers to questions- not to slap people’s wrists, dehumanize them and make them feel worthless. Self esteem and mental health are important issues currently, so thos posters who take a high handed, haughty mightier than thou tone should take a good hard look at themselves. Has the pandemic reallymade people really that hateful and spiteful?? I  I am done with this forum. Goodbye and good riddance to you all !!!

For info, not necessarily for the OP as they're gone, (but do wonder if they've used it) Lloyd's sent an email on 20th Jan with a Rakuten TV Movie Voucher code.  Valid until 3rd Feb.  Might be worth checking emails for Club Lloyd's customers.

Was that why you started the thread with a massive moaning complaint then?

Yes - apologies to the OP if I don't seem overly sympathetic.
COVID and the national lockdown is hardly Lloyds' fault. You are still allowed to drive a car to go to work or buy food etc so breakdown cover remains useful - travel insurance perhaps less so but it does provide annual cover so who knows by late summer?
Yes you cannot use your Vue cinema vouchers - but they last for a year and Vue will reopen hopefully in late spring or summer so you can use them then - and in the meantime they have sent a free Rakuten voucher to all customers which allows you to watch a movie for free for 48 hours post download which they didn't have to.
Sorry if you are experiencing mental health issues - millions of people are at present - but that presumably is little to do with your Lloyds current account benefits!
Try seeing the positives - as I have outlined above!
