Tuxedo Prepaid Mastercard

I've had one of these for a few years, but have recently found that the card is not recognized wherever I want to use it, despite their being plenty of funds available on it.  The card has well over a year before its expiry, shows no marks or scratches, but comes back as unrecognised, even when the number on it is typed in.  I can log into the online account management tool they have, and it shows nothing wrong.
When I try to contact Customer Services using the phone number given, I do not even get a ringing tone (so I assume it's disconnected), and emails sent to the email address given on their webpage come back as "Unrecognised email address".
They had sent me an email last September saying the issuer of the card was changing, but that "your Card will continue to operate as before" during the changeover.

As I've tried frequently to contact them by phone and email without success, has anybody an idea of what is going on, and if I should get my money out of there (and if so, how can I do that?)
