Doubt a mobile mechanic will be able to repair?

Ask him about the oil pressure control solenoid valve,  can be easy to replace. Worth a quick try.

But if its the oil pump in the sump contaminated ? probably job for garage.

Ford garages replace the engines. Think about £4000 approx?

Sorry to tell you this but you have. Catastrophic damage was already done when you continued to drive it more than a couple of miles. The fact it can now only do 65MPH and has no power is because you've got moving bits of metal grinding chunks out of each other because the film of oil that separates them is no longer there. The engine is most likely scrap.
