iPad Calendar search

How can I search the calendar app for events before 1 year ago? There are events in the calendar, however, they don't show when searched even though in settings “Calendars" section next to the "Sync" option,  "All Events" is selected. Help please!

My calendar app (version 20.45.0.52801200) goes back exactly 2 years in terms of search results

Don't know how or why as there does not appear to be a setting governing this rule other than the one you refer to and mine is set at "Events 1 month ago".

I know your thread header refers to the ipad calendar app, and not sure if this comment is a red herring or not, but I have just checked on my desktop google internet calendar (which syncs to my ipad calendar) and it goes back to when I started using it.
