Painting Internal uPVC door with F&B eggshell paint

I've just had a new composite door installed and it has a lot of white uPVC trim around the frame. The rest of the room has wooden panelling on the bottom half and we were going to paint it "School House White" from the farrow and ball eggshell range. Is it possible to paint uPVC trim with eggshell paint if you prime it first? We want to avoid two different whites in the room i.e. the uPVC white and the School House White.
Has anyone done this before and if so what primer did you use and how did it go?

Or speak to Farrow & Ball. They'll recommend a suitable undercoat.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
