Hi everyone
This may be bit long and confusing I apologise in advanced but bare with me please
A couple of weeks ago I did a straight swap of my ducati hypermotard for a 2015 ktm 690 smc r.
I saw an advert on face book for the ktm
So I approached him with a swap with the ducati
I told him everything about it mentioned that 9 haven't ridden it since October and it has just been sitting in the garage doing nothing.
I explain all the bad bits ect sent pics and vid of a walk around of the bike also mentioned it didn't have a mot but he was fine with it and get that sorted himself
He was all happy and pushed for the swap to happen
So we went to do the swap I took the bike to him on my trailer
And he had a test ride was happy with it
I gave him a huge amount of spares I had with it
And we then exchanged and did the log books online
Everything was good both happy
About a week later I get a message that the battery and knackered and an exhaust fell off (they were perfectly secure when I left) he claimed to have ridden the bike 2 miles but the pic of the speedo and the mot milage reading had a 35 mile difference also pics on fave book of 2 helmets suggesting a pillion
and he did say he takes a lot of pillion too. He was demanding 200quid for the work I asked for pics and receipt to show it cost 200 quid but he hadn't got the battery or sorted
the exhaust sorted until after I paid him the money he started saying it need 200 to get through the mot which failed first time round for a loose drive chain and that's it.
He also was saying the desmo service was a 1000 miles off but my dashboard said 3200 miles (have a pic to prove) and also saying the bike has a miss fire
But I refused to pay until I saw either pics or receipts
After a day or so he dropped it down to a 100 quid
I still refused and said I would replace the battery out of good will so I sent 50 quid to cover a battery as a good will gesture
He then still moaned it was 50 quid and he would bring the bike back to me then went quiet for a day
The asked if I had in the spares the exhaust system which I swapped which i did and told him it was there
I sent a video of all the spares before I put them in my car and all the parts were there
So last night I received a message he was missing a part so I double checked my boot and garage for it which I do not have so am certain he has it and must of miss placed it or has an altera motive.
But on the flip side his bike isn't perfect I have had to pay money to sort it and understand it is what it is
I had to replace indicators as it has none, a exhaust endcap he did supply one but it was a cheap chineese one which didn't fit which was an expensive dealer part to replace then I noticed the bike didn't even have a front brake light switch on it. So it's cost me over 115quid so far
But his advert lied the more the I looked at the bike
He stated it had a power commander 5, an alarm and a tracker on it guess what it has neither
He also said he was the owner form new but he is the second owner he brought it in 2019
im happy with the ktm I can live with the ktm
But I'm getting fed up with it
Where do I stand is it basically tough for him sold as seen or does he have a case?

I'm sorry but your post could do with some punctuation and paragraphs. At the moment it's just a wall of text that people will struggle or not bother to read through.0

Assuming you're a private seller, it's sold-as-seen, buyer's remorse is his problem.
You both did your due-diligence before the final agreement, and that was the deal that was agreed. No post-purchase negotiations...
So this is now all about fifty quid? Just block his phone number and get on with life.1 -
