Credit card query

in Credit cards
My brother has been given two credit cards from a very well known UK bank, even though he is a pensioner in his 70's, is on benefits and is paying off a substantial car loan. I should point out, this is the bank he has his account with.
Was the bank in question correct, knowing his situation and his monthly income, in giving my brother a second credit card.

Yes. They decided they were comfortable with the risk levels he represents. If they weren't happy, they would have declined him.
If he feels he should not have applied for the second card, he can decline it or ask for it to be closed.1 -

Also why shouldn't they have given him another credit card? Seems to me that it bothers you that he has credit cards and its his business not yours what he can and can't have!?!Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0
