Pure Planet seem to just make it up!
So first year with Pure Planet and was drawn in by good reviews and offer of 'based on your last year's usage, it'll be a fixed rate of approx £104 per month for dual fuel'
Now I realise we're all home, however our electricity usage is level and gone down in last month and as for gas, we never change the boiler setting and have a log burner blasting away in the cold months and yet my DD is up to £148 now! Every time they send me a 'time to submit a meter reading', I duly do and they then simply use that and then estimate it much higher for 2 days later for the 'day they calculate the bill'!! I queried why my bill just keeps going up and they said 'we always take more over Winter to balance the lower payments over Summer'
Well how about just keeping it as a constant across Summer and Winter rather than seemingly draw me in with a low quote in July, when I renewed, and then whopping it up from October to March!! To me it seems a deceitful way to draw in customers rather than average out the cost across the whole year of expected use.
Now £85 in credit surprise surprise.
