Poorly Made Bed

I brought a divan bed back in March of 2020. As I put the bed together I noticed that the metal brackets be supplied to keep two two ends together weren't applicable with the frame. We had to adjust the tension of them with a vice grip.
I attached my old headboard from my old divan bed to the new bed.The screw holes to hold the headboard to the bed were poorly made as well. As I tried to attach the headboard and the screws just just came undone from the physical bed. So I then had to try the other end and to attach the headboard. One hole broke as the other two did but the other kept the headboard secure.
This should have been the point when I contacted the bed maker with my concerns but because of all the hassle I left it be.
It wasn't until winter time I tried to go into my drawers I noticed 3 out of the 4 draws would not open fully.
Now with this new fault I contacted the the manufacturers they're told me to take pictures of the faults and they would send them on to the people that made the parts.
I then had to re contact them to ask them what could be done about the issue.
They gave me three options; send me replacement parts for me to fix myself.
For myself to return the bed where they could repair it or for get the bed picked up and a replacement will be sent out to me.
When I asked to do the third option they said they would have to charge me £70.
Something deep down inside of me thinks that that is wrong and that they should cover the charge because it's a faulty product is there anything I can do about it?

So why not just do option 2 -  get it returned, let them fix it then get it back again?

It won't kill you to sleep on a mattress on the floor will it??

How much did the bed cost?
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Nothing wrong with the manufacturers reply .
You have no claim against them any rights you have in law are against the vendor under Consumer Rights Act .
