Hey all
I ordered a phone on 11th of january. 12th january came, no sign of phone.. so i contacted them and they said it wont be here today it will be there tomorrow. I needed it urgently, so i cancelled it
10 days later, no refund. they said it can take upto 10 days, 10 days passed and I contacted them again and they said might take another 14 days. surely this can't be right?
620 pounds of my money they have had, and I cancelled it before it was even shipped
any ideas what to do?

Probably wait. Regardless of Curry's well know slow and substandard customer service, in the middle of a global pandemic, a UK wide lockdown with staffing issues I would accept things might take a while to get sorted. On top of that it might take Curry's a few days to process the refund, depending on the card provider than could then take up to 10 working days to be processed by the card issuer and on a credit card it could take a few days longer to show.mlc2009 said:any ideas what to do?
Did they confirm it had not been shipped, or just that it had not been delivered?mlc2009 said:and I cancelled it before it was even shipped
However the main body of your post is where things really do not add up. You claim you cancelled on the 12/01, ten days later would be 22/01, but we are only on 21/01. Yet in that period you have apparently waited for two 10 day periods, so that is 20 days, which would put us on 01/02, that is more than a week into the future.mlc2009 said:Hey all

I have waited technically 9 days, I would have thought a refund back to a card would be almost instantaneous0 -
No it generally takes up to 7 working days but needs people in the office to process it first. The mlc2009 said:
