Item bought from EU before Brexit, DHL only just picked up = charges?

Hello all,
I'm trying to find an answer to this but can't. I bought something in December from Germany and the DHL waybill was created 21st Dec. Unfortunately that was the day they put a stop to delivering parcels to the UK. There's finally an update saying the parcel has been picked up and is on the way.
Now... The item was bought pre-transition ending, with proof being the DHL waybill, but will now arrive afterwards. Am I looking at VAT, duty and fees when it arrives??
Thank you.

Yes you are. The day it is collected is the day it actually becomes a shipment (as opposed to just data).Paphos_Gooner said:Hello all,
