RULES

1.     The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at https://www.classicfm.com/terms-conditions/competition/) (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to the ‘Saint Lucia Tourism Authority January 2021 Competition’ (the “Competition") which will run from Wednesday 20th January 2021 to Tuesday 2nd February 2021 on Classic FM (the “Radio Station”).

2.     Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. 

Details of the Competition:

3.     To enter the Competition an Entrant must go online to www.classicfm.com/win, register their details and answer the multiple choice question on the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority Competition page. 

4.     Online entry will open at 10:15 on Wednesday 20th January 2021 and close at 23:59 on Tuesday 2nd February 2021

5.     One winning Entrant will be randomly selected from all correct and eligible entries after the closing time of the Competition. 

6.     The winning Entrant will be contacted by telephone and/or email by a representative of Global within 7 working days of the Competition closing to be informed of their win.

7.     Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment, delivery and arrangement of the prize.

Eligibility:

8.     Entrants must be aged 18 years or over.

9.     Entry is restricted to UK residents only.

10.  Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be removed. 

11.  Employees of the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, East Winds, Caribtours and their families, agencies or anyone else associated with this Competition are excluded from entering.

12.  The winning Entrant’s guest must also meet Global’s eligibility criteria, namely that they are not excluded from entering Global’s competitions as per the Competition Terms and Conditions.

Prize:

13.  1 x winning Entrant will win a 7 night stay at the East Winds Resort, St Lucia, on an All-Inclusive basis for two adults sharing. This includes return flights from London Gatwick to Saint Lucia courtesy of Caribtours and on island airport transfers courtesy of the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority.

Prize Terms and Conditions:

14.  The above prize outlined will be fulfilled by Caribtours and the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority. 

15.  There will be one overall prize which is valid for a maximum of 2 adults both 18 years or over (one winner plus guest) and must be taken in one trip. The prize consists of two return airline seats travelling in Economy from London Gatwick Airport to Saint Lucia courtesy of Caribtours, with 7 nights at East Winds Resort on an All-Inclusive basis for two adults sharing. Also included is two complimentary spa treatments and return on-island airport transfers courtesy of Saint Lucia Tourism Authority. Both hotel and flights are subject to availability.

16.  Reservations must be made directly with Saint Lucia Tourism Authority. The contact email address to make the reservation will be provided to the winning Entrant upon confirmation of their win by a representative of Global. 

17.  The prize is subject to availability and is valid for travel from March 2021 until 31st December 2022.

18.  Return flights are for travel from London to Saint Lucia for two people, travelling in economy. Any extras will be chargeable, including but not limited to, additional baggage or seats selection. The prize winner must be one of the people travelling. Flights are not available during peak travel times including UK school holiday periods and blackout dates apply.

19.  The prize including flights are strictly non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be changed once booked. Travellers must arrange comprehensive medical insurance cover for themselves for the duration of their trip. 

20.  East Winds, Caribtours and Saint Lucia Tourism Authority make no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at the destination.

21.  Compliance with any health, travel protocols or other government requirements is the responsibility of the prize winner and companion. 

22.  The winner and their chosen companion must comply with all relevant customs, travel protocols, security and immigration requirements, including appropriate passport and visa requirements. The prize winner and their companion are responsible for holding a passport with at least six months validity remaining on their return to the UK and must organise relevant visas where required. UK passport holders do not require a visa to visit Saint Lucia. Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, East Winds and Caribtours will not be responsible for any passenger’s failure to comply with these requirements. 

23.  The prize does NOT include any insurance, travel to or from London Gatwick airport, or any travel or other expenses during the trip unless otherwise stated. Any out of pocket expenses (such as phone, room service, drinks purchases, gifts and food) are not included in the prize.

24.  There is no cash alternative or alternative holiday and the prize is non-transferable.

25.  Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, East Winds and Caribtours shall not be responsible for any indirect, special or consequential damages or losses suffered by the winning Entrant or a third party.

26.  Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, East Winds and Caribtours are the competition prize providers. Global is the competition promoter.

27.  Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, East Winds and Caribtours do not accept responsibility for loss, damage or injury occurring to the participant arising from his or her entry into the promotion or occurring to the winner(s) arising from his or her acceptance of the prize.

28.  The promotion is subject to the laws of England.

29.  Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at its absolute discretion.
