INSIDE THE TOWER OF LONDON COMPETITION 2021 – ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1)The prize comprises:

• An allowance of £100 per person (£200 total) towards UK travel costs made payable to the winner in the form of a BACS transfer;
• Two (2) nights’ accommodation for two at Cheval Three Quays based on the prize winner and their companion sharing a Luxury One-Bedroom Tower View Apartment including a welcome hamper with continental breakfast for two days (subject to availability);
• Two (2) x Tickets to the Tower of London including:
  • Access to the Tower of London
  • Admission to exhibitions (including the Crown Jewels)
  • The iconic Yeoman Warder tour
  • Live historical re-enactments
• A three-hour City Cruises dinner cruise on the Thames for two including:
  • A delicious meal
  • Welcome drink on arrival
  • Half a bottle of wine per guest
  • Live performer and dancing until late; and
• £1,000 spending money.

2) The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of their congratulations e-mail from Element being sent and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred departure date or the prize may be forfeited.

3) The prize must be taken and completed between 1st July 2021 and 30th June 2022. The trip cannot be taken over Christmas and New Year (23rd December 2021 to 4th January 2022), Easter (14th to 19th April 2022) or during any UK Bank Holidays (2nd May 2022; 2nd and 3rd June 2022). The prize and its components are subject to availability.

4) Tickets to the Tower of London are only valid on the date selected and are non-transferable.

5) Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, he/she must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over to check into the accommodation. Please note that either the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check into the accommodation for security deposit purposes.

6) It is the responsibility of the prize winner to inform the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the prize winner and his/her companion when taking the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines

7) The prize excludes transfers between the winner’s home and the train station/airport, additional meals, drinks, excursions, attractions, spa treatments, gratuities, personal expenses, travel insurance and all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the prize.

8) The prize and all its elements are subject to availability. Neither Channel 5 nor Element will accept responsibility for the accommodation or any facilities being unavailable, withdrawn or amended.

9) There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize.

10) Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.

11) Video footage and images kindly provided by City Cruises, Cheval Three Quays and London & Partners.

12) A BACs transfer for the spending money included in the prize will be issued in the prize winner’s name within 14 days of the trip booking being confirmed.

13) An allowance towards UK travel costs will be provided to the winner only. The allowance is calculated at a set maximum of £100 per guest and will be made payable to the winner at the time of accommodation booking by the prize provider as a BACS transfer. Their travel allowance will be paid to the winner up to a maximum of 2 guests/£200. Neither Channel 5 nor the prize provider are responsible for organising travel arrangements for this prize, it will be the prize winner’s responsibility to organise this appropriately throughout their stay unless otherwise stated.
