Can I unlock an O2 internet dongle?

I posted this in the phones forum (and can't delete it) but I think it's more appropriate here:
I've got an oldish O2 dongle, can't remember where I got it from. Model is MF710M.
I'm trying to use this with a Virgin SIM but it tells me the device is locked and gives me 5 attempts to enter an unlock code.
Any idea how or even if I can get this code?

Thank you but for me this generates 12-digit codes and the modem asks for 16 digits.HereToday said:https://texby.com/unlock-codes/zte/ is worth a try0 -
Why not contact O2 and ask them.

It is only 3G.
You would be better tendering off your mobile.0
