We had AIP and full application go in yesterday, just wanted to check what timelines/scales to expect going forward? They have mentioned application review in 48 hrs from full application (underwritten in 48hrs). Is this true?? Any self employed? What documents were requested in addition? Full app to offer services times are stating 17 days 🙌🏽
Any info regarding your experiences will be amazing 😀
thank you

Ah great news - I’ll have everything crossed! Keep me posted. Our valuation is Wednesday but can’t see any major issues there so just in the waiting game now..

it’s life on suspense part that’s annoying, cannot plan anything until that offer is in and you know the contracts are exchanged with a completion date..hopefully 2/3 weeks we complete our purchase. Are you a first timer? We’ve got the old help to buy scheme at hit top end with the cap so really hoping all is well as got a good deal with the house!0 -
First time but no help to buy available as it’s a huge project house - fell in love instantly however so can’t help but be impatient..
Did your broker say the lender had given any indication to how the valuation had gone/if underwriting was done etc.Luckily we are renting at the moment and house we want is empty with no chain so if we do get an offer the other side shouldn’t be too long (so many ifs!)0 -

Received our offer the same afternoon as the valuation! Now a very long wait until exchange, solicitor has helpfully said anywhere between 12-20 weeks! And that’s without a chain. But just glad that big hurdle is over. Can’t fault West Brom.0
