How long do I wait

In December via MSE I switched my energy supplier to British Gas, mainly as we are due a service this month and a free annual service is part of the deal. I have tried & tried to book a service both by the app & online. Only once after numerous attempts did I get to "chat" & was given a link to follow in order to book which comes up as obsolete. I've tried everything & need this service. We are both pensioners, not that that should make a difference but I feel a bit cheated into this deal & wonder how to proceed, short of changing suppliers again! Help appreciated!
