Vanguard S&S ISA - can it be opened without a cash deposit?

Hi, I am looking into opening a Vanguard S&S ISA, to transfer some old tax years' money into.
I do already have a S&S ISA which was opened in a previous tax year (I haven't opened another one in this tax year), but have contributed some money into it already as a £100 a month recurring investment, so I couldn't put 'new money' into an additional ISA.

Is there any way with Vanguard to open the ISA without having to make a cash deposit, so that it would be funded by the previous tax years' money (to be transferred from another ISA) only?
I couldn't find anything about this on the website, and the account opening 'journey' asked for the cash deposit as part of the account opening process.

Hoping someone here has come across this or knows whether it could be done!

Have you been using the dedicated transfer page to open your account?

Yes, it was possible when I opened mine with a transfer-in back in 2018. I have a vague memory of the same issue as you, but managed to muddle through somehow. Sorry, but I just can't remember exactly how. I'm sure their customer service team would be able to talk you through it if you contact them.

Thanks guys! I am now in the process of transferring a cash ISA with old years' contributions... I had somehow missed the "transfer" account opening option and just tried to create a new account in the normal way.

Here's to hopefully a better return than the 0.1% I was getting on the Cash ISA.....
