Got notification from BT that they are losing some channels - my favourite - SyFy , plus others like history and E! - I cannot even find any terms and conditions from them that deal with anything like this -- am I entitled to end my contract ?

Separate contracts apply to BT TV, Sport and Broadband with TV. Content and prices are subject to change at any time during the contract.

As it happens I've just cancelled my TV and Sports with BT, and kept broadband only. However in my case my contract was up at the end of this month anyway. I did get that email you refer to but didn't pay much attention, sorry. (I never watched those channels anyway).Jenni x0

I have the same problem.
I rang them to see if they could match a total broadband and TV price from SKY for similar product. Didn't actually want to leave.
However - even though they expect me to sign up for another 24 months (both TV and Boradband) - they refused to match the price.
It is a real con the way they link Broadband and TV in their offers - expect you to take a 24 month contract (when they are the ones changing TV channels available) for both TV and Broadband.
So I am stuck on BT broadband for the next 12 months - which is expensive anyway. However - it is the last time I will use BT.0 -

You are not "stuck" with anybody. You are free to move at any time. It will result in early exit fees no doubt, but you are not "stuck".
