I haven't been out shopping this month, but I've had a home delivery, and ordered a few specialist low carb bits online - I am feeling very stodgy and hibernation like still. Not fancying cooking at all, so doing ok working through my many, many meal replacements - think there's a good couple of months to go there yet...
Amazingly I had £3 left over last month (I usually spend to the very last penny and then over) so maybe an annual view is helpful? Bit early to call it in month one though.2021 GC £1365.71/ £24004 -

\@elsiepac Please can i put my budget back to £380? . I've had a few bulk purchases already this month; which will last ages; but have made things a bit spendy. I probably should have considered this when i dropped my budget for the month.
My other spends have just been little bits, in Aldi/Lidl etc; although tonight i have a big Asda order estimated at £74.97. I will amend and add this later, as DD1 will owe me for a few bits; and i am unsure whether anything will be substituted or missingGC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £89.90/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Went shopping yesterday. First shop of the month so a big one as like to stock up on meat for the month and also soft drinks most of which comes from bulk fund.
Don't think I'm going to be within budget this month as overspent a bit last month so have a bit less than usual this month and now down to £178.69 for rest of the month. Have also spent most of the bulk fund for the month - only just over £10 left.
Will see how it goes but if necessary will have to up the budget a bit as it seems food is definitely getting more expensive.5 -
This months spends so far have been £6.99 on my delivery saver plan and £40.04 on the first shop, as well as £2 on a cake for a treat on Monday night. I've got vouchers that I can only spend in store with Ald! or Mr T so I'll have to go instore more often this month. Hoping with careful planning I can keep it to once per week.Grocery Challenge 2024

Did the “big shop” today. Wasn’t all that big really because I’ve got a bit of stock and a fair bit of meat in! Went to Ald1, H0me barga1ns and Morries. Spent £46.39 but that should do a couple of weeks with a few top ups for milk and stuff.£50.74/£180 for February!
