  • I haven't been out shopping this month, but I've had a home delivery, and ordered a few specialist low carb bits online - I am feeling very stodgy and hibernation like still. Not fancying cooking at all, so doing ok working through my many, many meal replacements - think there's a good couple of months to go there yet...
Amazingly I had £3 left over last month (I usually spend to the very last penny and then over) so maybe an annual view is helpful? Bit early to call it in month one though.

  • Does anyone else keep a food inventory?
I use the app "out of milk" to track my unopened items in the backroom. After ending up with over 30 packs of passata (I cook for one) because I kept forgetting I had it. It's very useful when spotting bargains to see if I actually need them. I don't track open stuff in the cupboard.
