Energy Club offer worse than current supplier offer

My OVO gas/electric contract is ending and Energy Club has suggested Octopus Energy as the replacement. I've run the figures on Excel using last and current years usage and this is not as good as OVO's new offer. I had a look for "current supplier" only and it showed nothing.
Have OVO been removed from Energy Club and if so why?
I was thinking of setting up to switch automatically, but now have grave doubts I'd get the best deal.

Use Citizens Advice and 'Which? Switch' instead. Never use an autoswitching service, you'll get what's best for the website, not what's best for you.

It's the MSE Energy Club, so I'm assuming no vested interest in specific suppliers.

You assume wrongly. MSE is owned by Money Supermarket

My Ovo contract is ending shortly and I have found that Ovo is significant by its absence.I too thought MSE energy club was the saviour...obviously not. Damn those capitalists!

OVO is certainly not absent in the MSE comparisons .

I had the same when comparing my energy with Avro. Avro did not feature on the results!
