Bad floor installation: what is reasonable to ask?

Hello. Hope you are doing fine.
We bought a new house that had carpet and we have got vinyl flooring installed through a local retailer. The installation has been of very poor quality (as certified by other floor installers and specialists), and it includes:

- Uneven flooring between hallway and living room.
- Gap all across the hallway between skirting and flooring.
- Poorly-fitted carpet in stairs.
- Thin cracks already appearing on the vinyl (empty house, floor just installed a couple of days ago).
- Some small corners do not have floor installed
- irregular shaped holes for radiator pipes and washbasin.
- Even if the agreement was to install LVT in the cupboard under the stairs, only non-fitted carpet has been put there as they told me it was the only solution to access the hatch below it.

None of these problems were raised during installation and a surveyor from the shop came to see the house in detail before instruction of the works. I have paid for half the materials (2k) so I still need to pay for the rest (2k) and the install (1.5k). What is it reasonable to ask the shop to make this right? What would you do as a consumer in my place? Many thanks for your opinions.

You're in a strong position, having only paid for half of the materials.  I would set out in writing what you have laid out here, with a bit more detail and accompanying photos, asking that the installation be corrected so that it conforms to the contract and specification you agreed.  Once they've done so, you must pay the outstanding balance.
