Shared ownership: Is paying housing associations legal fees the norm when selling?

We are selling on our 25% of a shared ownership flat, it is due to complete on Friday. Just received all the info from our solicitors and from the statement it shows we are paying the housing associations legal fees of £1.4k.... is this the norm? I knew we needed to pay a percent of the equity to the housing association themselves but had no idea we were paying their fees as this wasn't mentioned anywhere in the selling pack!

Yes your responsibility. They aren't benefiting from the sale. They would be out of pocket if they paid fees on all resales0
