How long does a Barclaycard query take?

I bought some headphones from Studio in December.  They arrived faulty, only the left side works and the item looks used.  Studio have been unhelpful in regards to a return.  They are not replying to my emails and when I ring them up they literally just stick me on hold forever and with calls costing 13p a minute it's just not worth it.

I started a Barclaycard query on 8th January but have not heard a single reply from them.  How long does it usually take for a response?  I just want my money back and Studio to collect their faulty item.

    Would be better in banking or credit card section.

    But just what query did you start with Barclaycard & how did you do it?

    I didn't even know this site had a credit card section.

    To carry out a query I logged into my barclaycard account and clicked the Studio payment and selected '
    I received goods that arrived damaged or not as described'.

    I have never done this before but seeing as Studio don't seem all that interested in resolving the issue I thought I'd try it out.

    Who knows, but can say that ALL banks are extremely busy on the dispute side of things.

    TBH, give them a ring, it will be far quicker.
    But do not expect bank to refund and send the item back.

  • Barclaycard have the worse customer service ever. They just don't reply most of the time. Embarass them on Twitter and you'll get a faster reply.
  • You should also try emailing through Resolver. Ignored if sending a normal email, many companies do reply this way as they know you're more likely to mean business
