Lovely day today, a little on the chilly side but nice and bright, at least it's not raining. Planning on getting some summer bulbs over the weekend to plant in my container pots, just need to decide what to get. Will need to buy some gardening gloves as well as I haven't actually got any at the moment but they shouldn't cost me too much.
Bought a couple of little bits and pieces for a house warming present today and also a card. That set me back about £15.00 but not too bad considering. Was only little things like tea towels etc but it's their first house and they need literally everything!Tesco CC - £269.00.00/£750
Virgin CC - £1,050.00/£2570.00
MBNA CC - £825.00/£3360.00
Emergency/Home improvements Fund - £0.00/£1000.00

Time to review my spending diary for the month of February and see what went where and if I can cut back anywhere. Main area I want to cut back on is food budget as that is far too high at the moment. Off to Aldi tomorrow to see if I can get some bits and pieces, won't be too much as I won't be able to carry too much home but I should be able to get a week's worth at least.Tesco CC - £269.00.00/£750

Gorgeous day today, went for a long walk and called in to Aldi on the way back home to get some shopping. Wasn't able to get as much as I would have liked, it was fairly quiet when I went in there but there were no small trollies left and no baskets outside so I had to carry an armful of shopping round the store! Spent just under £25.00 so quite pleased with that.
I also spent about £12.00 buying a few small gardening tools (hand trowel and hand fork and a bulb planter) - they didn't have any bulbs though so will need to find them from somewhere else. I'd also like to buy some of the small metal coloured plant pots, the ones that come with little handles that you can hang on the inside of the fence to brighten up the garden. Other half bought some solar powered fairy lights back last summer and they look really nice.Tesco CC - £269.00.00/£750
