Going over my budget again this evening and I've taken the plunge and increased my one credit card payment by £50.00 per month. This means that particular credit card should be paid off by the end of October 2021. Once that card has been repaid I can put the money towards the other two cards which means that all my debt should be repaid by the end of January 2022 rather than April which is what I'd originally calculated. You can bet your life though that I will be scraping together every last penny I can to try and get it all paid off by the end of this year. Fingers crossed!Tesco CC - £269.00.00/£750

Hi! I’m in a very similar position to you! Currently at £6900 and aiming for early next year but would love to have it paid off by the end of the year! Nice to see there’s a few of us in a similar position
hopefully these diaries will keep us motivated! Good luck and I shall read along!

Yes I've seen a few of us on here with similar amounts of debt and timescales for paying it off, hopefully we can cheer one another along. Good luck on your own journey and I shall follow along to see how you're getting onTesco CC - £269.00.00/£750

Urgh why does payday always feel so far away when I'm desperate to make some more payments towards my debt?! Granted I only have to wait till Friday but it feels like ages.
On the plus side weigh day was yesterday and I lost two pounds so that's seven pounds in two weeks now, only another 65 to go 😅Tesco CC - £269.00.00/£750

Tidied a small amount from my current account into my emergency fund this evening so that now stands at £479.05. £30.00 spent today in Sainsbury's and Tesco's with a small top up shop. Will need to buy some more bread and cooked meats for sandwiches in the next couple of days and that should then keep me going until my next delivery comes next week. I seem to be spending a small fortune on fruit at the moment!Tesco CC - £269.00.00/£750

Woohoo well done! You seem to be smashing it ☺️ my payday is also Friday and I've also ended up spending quite a few quid on fruit and veggies!! 😬 I've been trying to cook fresh more as my other half literally eats chicken and chips every day 😐 tonight I'm making a chicken and gravy pie for him and for me it's chicken veg and gravyI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe boards and spending & discounts boards. Thanks, I've been impatiently waiting for payday thinking I can't make any payments until then and completely forgot about the direct debit coming out so that was a nice surprise as I was able to update my signature to at least show something lol. Just looked at my accounts and I've got the grand total of £1.03 left in my food shopping account so I hope I don't need anything before Friday! I have got money still in my normal current account but trying not to transfer any more over as I've already gone over my food budget this month. I eat a lot of mango and cherries but they're blimmin expensive - think I need to stick to boring old apples and bananas lol.
Hope your other half enjoyed the chicken pieTesco CC - £269.00.00/£750
