Don't use the trainline.com, it charges you a fee.

The train companies own website. Book ages in advance & choose a fixed time rather than flexible ticket0

I don't know what you are trying to show, but those images aren't a comparison. Trainsplit price a single fare, trainline is an off peak return.
Advanced tickets cheapest, usually available 12 weeks from travel, but Covid has put paid to many of those as emergency timetables are in force.0 -
