Does any one know what terms and conditions should be included in a mortgage contract /agreement for a property in England ?

Context
I am close to achieving my deposit for a property in England, as a potential single first time buyer.

I just wanted to gloss over the legalities so that I am aware of what I am potentially signing up.

That's a pretty broad question. Really this is what you are paying your solicitor for so I would worry too much
In general all I really do is check the basic details and give it a laymans read through for anything that seems unduly onerous or one sided. If I had any questions about it at the end of the day I ask my solicitor about it
These contracts are usually extensive and detailed and can go right down to the details of land rights and rights of easement and all sorts of legalese. I'd say curiosity is to be applauded but I wouldn't worry too much about it - let your solicitor do their job and ask them for anything that seems fishy in the contract
