Did you simply ask about payment dates or did you ask for your payment date to be amended?

No I was just asking when the payments came out? Someone else from Halifax has rung my broker again to say it is a glitch but I assume this could slow things down and could possibly lead to further checks?

Until completion takes place, they would be unable to confirm the exact first payment date/amount so I'm surprised they needed to go into the case. The guide issued with the mortgage offer explains the first payment based on different completion dates in the month. Changing the regular payment date requires a requote and resubmit which is why I asked about this.

Thanks for the info :) - I rang them back and they passed it to the underwriters as an urgent matter. It’s now been rectified and I can breathe 🤣🙈
