Discovery+ through Sky Q?

On Xmas Day I was at my mothers and noticed she got an offer of a Discovery+ trial through her Sky Q box. She was interested as she wanted to watch the Jimmy Savile Faking It documentary.

Got it all set up for her and it says she needs to upgrade to watch it.

What's that all about (upgrading, obviously) because it said she gets a free trial of it with Sky Q but now it's basically saying it's not a free trial.

We created the account and activated on the same day. She logged out today and went through the sign in process which involved activating again. Still no joy.
