Is it a realistic goal to try to earn £50 a week from a part-time work at home sideline?

I have to say this unfortunately. Do bear in mind that this income is probably taxable especially if you have a full time job as well. And even without a job any monies earned is actually classed as an income if you get benefits. Sad but true and many government offices now monitor social media.

Lots and lots of ideas already on here. But as someone else said, you need to work out what you want to spend your time doing first, so it will see you well into the future.0

You need to earn £12,570 to be taxed on your earnings...£50 a week would be £2,600. Of course if like you say the OP has another job then it might well take it over that.....though IMO it would be difficult to earn £50 a week doing this sort of stuff and have a full time job, and maintain some kind of quality of life. I look for £10-20 per week across all the sites I am on.p00 said:I have to say this unfortunately. Do bear in mind that this income is probably taxable especially if you have a full time job as well. So it seems that despite the huge shift towards WFH this last 18 months for existing office based jobs there still appears to be no new opportunities for unskilled basic 'proper' salaried employed work which requires nothing more than a laptop and an internet connection.0

Well why would there be? You're basically talking about admin style roles. Anything beyond that generally needs some kind of skillset...jacko74 said:So it seems that despite the huge shift towards WFH this last 18 months for existing office based jobs there still appears to be no new opportunities for unskilled basic 'proper' salaried employed work which requires nothing more than a laptop and an internet connection.
By its nature (working with IT) the minute once you start going beyond that, it stops being "unskilled" and starts being "skilled". The thing to do, is to become skilled - and there are a plethora of free resources available to help build someones IT skills0
